Un sujeto, dos culturas Interculturalidad y Ciencias Sociales, una transversalidad obligada para la integración e inclusión social en educación de adultos

Abstract

A lo largo de estas últimas décadas, los movimientos migratorios en esta sociedad global hacen que sea necesaria una integración bidireccional y adaptar el proceso de Enseñanza-Aprendizaje a las nuevas circunstancias de vida. Este estudio, pretende comprender y dar protagonismo al alumnado del aula de interculturalidad de adultos, de modo que nos muestren sus intereses e inquietudes. La metodología usada en este proceso de investigación es cualitativa mixta, además, hace uso del enfoque narrativo para obtener unos resultados de primera mano que nos mostrarán la importancia de tratar los temas sociales relevantes en un aula de interculturalidad de un centro de adultos, favoreciendo el proceso de inclusión e integración en el país de acogida, incluyendo, el aprendizaje del idioma español. Por lo que se refiere a la finalidad de esta investigación, decir que es una propuesta educativa docente que se llevará a cabo mediante las Ciencias Sociales y la enseñanza del Idioma Español para Extranjeros en educación permanente, o aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida. Con esta propuesta y un profesorado comprometido que considere estas aportaciones, se propicia la inclusión social del colectivo inmigrante en diferentes facetas sociales. Abstract: During recent decades, migratory movements in this global society make it necessary for a two-way integration and adaptation of the Teaching-Learning process to conform to new life circumstances in Adult education. This study aims to understand and give prominence to adult students in the intercultural classroom in order to maintain their interest and concerns. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative investigation and in addition, the narrative approach is utilized to obtain first-hand results that will show us the importance of dealing with the relevant social issues in an interculturality classroom of an adult center. Of great importance is the process of including and integrating the language and background thinking of the host country: that includes learning the Spanish language. The objective pursued by this study is an educational and teaching proposal that will be carried out throughout the Social Sciences and the teaching of the Spanish language for foreigners in fulltime and life-long education. With this proposal and a committed teacher who encompasses these essential ingredients, the social inclusion of the immigrant population in different social facets is encouraged and achieved.
