El arte y la educación artística en el aula hospitalaria

Abstract

La escuela es uno de los motores principales en la vida de los niños y niñas que actúa como núcleo de socialización. En el caso de los niños y niñas hospitalizados por un largo periodo de tiempo se produce un cambio del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, pero esto no debe de ser un impedimento para proseguir con su proceso educativo; por ello, el docente tiene una función imprescindible que consiste en aportar el apoyo académico durante el periodo de tiempo que los profesionales consideren necesario, además de mantener un ritmo de enseñanza adecuado a las posibilidades del paciente y favorecer sus relaciones sociales. Para lograr el bienestar del alumnado que pasa por estas situaciones es importante realizar una terapia que en este caso se enmarca en el campo del arte para lograr principalmente la expresión de emociones y sentimientos, y también alcanzar otros aspectos siempre beneficiosos para estos pacientes. El trabajo que se presenta a continuación pretende mostrar el arte desde un punto de vista diferente, enfocado al ámbito terapéutico y presentarlo como una herramienta fundamental para el autoconocimiento y las interacciones con otros niños y niñas, ya que es un instrumento de gran utilidad para la comunicación verbal y no verbal que favorece la expresión de las emociones y sentimientos. Por ello, se incluyen aspectos sobre la labor educativa en el hospital como medio para atemperar los efectos negativos que se pueden producir como consecuencia de un ingreso en el hospital en los pacientes de la planta de Pediatría. Así, este proyecto se basa en la fundamentación tanto teórica como práctica apoyada por el trayecto de la educación hospitalaria y los elementos que se vinculan a la misma. Abstract: The school is one of the main engines engines in the lives of the boys and girls wich act as socializing nucleus. In the case of hospitalized children for a long periodo of time there is a change in the contuinity of ther teaching-learning process, but this shouldn’t be an impediment to continue their educational process; therefore, the teacher has an essential role that it consist in provide academic support over the period of time that professionals consider necessary, in addition to maintining a rythm of teaching adapted to the patinet´s possibilities and promothe their social relationships. To achieve the well-being of the students who pass through these situations it is important to perform a therapy that in this case is part of the field of art to mainly achieve the expresión of emotions and feelings, and reach others aspects always benefitial for these patients too. The work presented below pretends to show art from a different point of view, focused on the therapeutic field and present it as a fundamental for self-knowledge and interactions with other boys and girls, since it is a very useful instrument for verbal and non-verbal comunication that favor the exprression of emotions and feelings. For this reason, aspects of educational work in the hospital are included as a means to temper the negative effects that may occur as a consequence of hospital admission in patients in the Pediatric floor. Thus, this proyect is based on both theoretical and practical foundations supported by the path of hospital education and the elements that are linked to it
