La altura de salto vertical (VJ) es una de las variables condicionales más importantes en el rendimiento del voleibol. La literatura recoge diversas intervenciones en las que se usa la electroestimulación (EMS) para la mejora del VJ, pero parece no haber un consenso sobre los parámetros a utilizar, además existe un hueco sobre el efecto en esta población. La hipótesis es que el entrenamiento de EMS de alta frecuencia combinado simultáneamente con el entrenamiento pliométrico (PT) puede conducir a mayores mejoras en VJ en comparación con otras combinaciones de EMS y PT.
