Abstract

La Parálisis Cerebral se describe como un grupo de trastornos permanentes del movimiento y la postura, que causan limitación de la actividad, producidas por alteraciones no progresivas que ocurrieron en el cerebro fetal o inmaduro durante su desarrollo. Entre un 40% a 60% de los niños con PCI, poseen una hemiparesia, que afecta a un lado del cuerpo y donde el miembro superior suele estar más afectado que el miembro inferior. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar la efectividad de la terapia vibratoria en niños con PCI tipo hemiparesia.

Cerebral palsy is described as a group of permanent movement and posture disorders that cause activity limitation, produced by non-progressive alterations that occurred in the fetal or immature brain during its development. Between 40% to 60% of children with PCI have hemiparesis, which affects one side of the body and where the upper limb is usually more affected than the lower limb. The aim of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of vibration therapy in children with hemiparesis type ICH.
