ABSTRACT: In 2007 and 2008, banks offered their clients to take out insurance to protect themselves from the interest rates on their mortgages. These new insurances are the “swaps” and they were a trick because, after a few years, the interest rates fell and the clients began to receive receipts with the losses caused by contracting these products. Today, we can see numerous cases in the Courts.
