In this work, the past, present, and future of the Canal de Castilla are addressed, emphasizing its historical importance and current use for irrigation and tourism. It examines the technical and economic feasibility of installing turbines to generate hydroelectric power, while respecting its historical and cultural value. It also highlights the canal's tourism potential, its maintenance, and promotion as a tourist destination and a resource for generating renewable energy.
