The purpose of this paper is to establish connections and differences between The tunnel (1948), by Ernesto Sabato, and The Stranger (1942), by Albert Camus, basing on the philosophical dimension of both works. Thus, throughout this paper we study the most important issues related to the existentialist conception of both books, such as loneliness or absurd.
