¿Qué consideraciones hace la poeta Agripina Montes del Valle sobre las dificultades que su condición de mujer representa para su trabajo literario en 1868 en la provincia colombiana? ¿Cuál es su propia visión de la condición femenina? ¿Cómo logra publicar desde Manizales, ciudad que en esa época aún no tenía periódicos y revistas? A continuación se analiza el artículo de prensa “Proyectos de literatura” escrito por la poeta Agripina Montes del Valle y publicado en el periódico El Oasisde Medellín el 3 de octubre de 1868. Para responder a las preguntas planteadas se analizará el tema central de este artículo autorreferencial, algunos subtextos y su proceso de circulación, con el fin de identificar tópicos que pueden ser útiles para trabajos posteriores sobre la escritura femenina en Colombia en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX.
