2020Abstract
Resumen: El uso masivo e inadecuado de los antibióticos, está generando un número cada vez mayor de resistencias bacterianas hacia estos fármacos, haciendo que sea cada vez más difícil encontrar un tratamiento eficaz contra enfermedades comunes. Es por esto por lo que debe de existir una continua búsqueda de nuevos antibióticos. En el entorno natural del compostaje, podemos encontrar hongos con un gran potencial para la generación de nuevos compuestos bioactivos. En este trabajo se investigó una colección de 100 cepas de hongos aisladas de pilas de compostaje. Cada una de estas cepas se enfrentaron in vitro a patógenos humanos, Escherichia coli (Gram-negativo) y Staphylococcus aureus (Gram-positivo) para determinar el efecto inhibitorio de crecimiento del patógeno.
