Uso de materiales interactivos y diseño de un itinerario de aprendizaje en la clase de Ciencias Sociales

Abstract

La enseñanza de las ciencias sociales ha estado tradicionalmente centrada y vinculada a metodologías tradicionales como pueden ser el uso de libros de texto, atlas, fotocopias y un rol poco flexible por parte del profesorado ligado a la clase magistral. A la hora de realizar este trabajo no buscamos desprestigiar ni infravalorar planteamientos tradicionales, pues estos han sido la base de nuestro propio aprendizaje y crecimiento. Buscamos ayudar y contribuir, como complemento, a que los estudiantes despierten un mayor interés en nuestra área de conocimiento y poder hacer uso de los interesantes avances que nos ofrecen las nuevas metodologías y los diferentes elementos tecnológicos, centrándonos en las posibilidades que nos ofrece el libro interactivo multimedia. Una vez introducido internet y las nuevas tecnologías, en general, tenemos la posibilidad de traer a nuestras aulas un mayor sentido de realidad. Este sentido de realidad se entiende como el proceso de acercamiento del contenido de una forma novedosa, siendo visual, acústica, interactiva, etc. En síntesis, llamativa y dinámica frente al uso tradicional. Las investigaciones que se han hecho, en los últimos años, demuestran que el uso de material interactivo es una excelente herramienta para incrementar la motivación de nuestros alumnos. Por esta razón, un creciente número del profesorado está integrando el empleo de nuevas tecnologías en su rutina como docentes. Profesorado de institutos, siendo estos los que mayor número de horas invierten con los jóvenes. El presente proyecto tiene como finalidad presentar al libro digital (Libro Interactivo Multimedia), sus características y principales funciones dentro del mundo de la educación y concretamente, dentro de las ciencias sociales, como herramienta que contribuya al desarrollo del aprendizaje en estudiantes de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. Once the Internet and new technologies have been introduced, in general, we have the possibility of bringing a greater sense of reality to our classrooms. This sense of reality is understood as the process of approaching the content in a novel way, being visual, acoustic, interactive, etc. In short, striking and dynamic compared to traditional use. Research carried out in recent years shows that the use of interactive material is an excellent tool to increase the motivation of our students. For this reason, a growing number of teachers are integrating the use of new technologies into their routine as teachers. The purpose of this project is to present the digital book (Multimedia Interactive Book), its characteristics and main functions within the world of education and specifically, within the social sciences, as a tool that contributes to the development of learning in students of Compulsory Secondary Education.
